BEAR SAULS GUITAR WENT FOR $2900
Thanks to those of you who bid on the Guitar for Bear Sauls. The final price was $2,900.

WARREN SIGNED GUITAR AUCTION FOR BEAR SAULS
We are now auctioning off a Flying V Guitar on www.muleauction.net, autographed by Warren Haynes to benefit Warren's good friend Bear Sauls.

"A lot of you may know Wayne "Bear" Sauls from the Atlanta blues/rock scene. He was the guitarist in the seminal Southern rock band Eric Quincy Tate and has been a close friend of mine for over 25 years. When I first started going to Atlanta he was one of the people that helped me the most whether it was loaning us gear, providing transportation, or letting us crash on his floor. In the last few years his health has failed tremendously and insurmountable medical bills have caused him to lose everything-guitars, cars, motorcycles and even his voice. He currently can only speak through a voice box but is scheduled to have surgery that will hopefully bring his voice back. We are trying to raise money in hopes of making a dent in these enormous bills." - Warren Haynes

WARREN HAYNES CUSTOM GUITAR AUCTION
Donny Barnes, wife of Mike Barnes, has breast cancer and has had a bi-lateral mastectomy (removal). She's undergoing chemo-therapy, and as you might guess, their bills are astronomical with very limited coverage. Mike, as many of you know, is one of Warren's oldest and closest friends and has participated in many Christmas Jams through the years. We will have several auctions in hope of at least partially covering their needs. Any money left over will be donated to Breast Cancer Research.

The first auction will be a Gibson Warren Haynes signature Les Paul (signed by WH). This is a Gibson Custom Shop model, of which only 150 are being made. For more info on the guitar go to www.gibson.com/warrenhaynes. To bid on the guitar click here.

MULE AND DEREK TRUCKS SIGNED GUITAR AUCTION
If you click here to bid on an Epiphone SG autographed by all of Gov't Mule and Derek Trucks. This guitar is to benefit www.connorsheroes.org to help fight childhood cancer. Gov't Mule autographed this guitar last April while at the Innsbrook Pavilion right outside of Richmond, VA. See a photo of Gov't Mule, Connor and the guitar here. So please bid or make a donation. The auction ends July 6th.

THE SURF AND ROCK ART EXHIBIT
Gov't Mule is committed to supporting organizations and charities which strive to better the world we live in. This "Friends of Mule" section will compile the causes most near and dear to our hearts.

1st Annual Invitational Surf and Rock Art Exhibit
Where: Artists Gallery, Norfolk Ave., Virginia Beach, VA
When: August 9th - September 5th 2007
Artists' Reception: August 18th, 7:00 pm - Saturday Night
Theme: Contemporary Art - Involving Rock Music and Surfing
Objective: The Surf and Rock Exhibit is to aid in the incredible charities of the Surfers Healing program and TASA. It is the Tidewater Autistic Society of America that is actively trying to raise funds to help set up an east coast Surfers Healing network - www.surfershealing.org. In order to do so, they are in need of many things including, but not limited to, boards and equipment to keep on the east coast. This year they are sponsoring a 5k run and other events to raise the public awareness of their organization. We hope to become an integral part of this effort.
This show will coincide with the TASA and Surfers Healing events here locally, running through ECSC the following week, and continuing through Labor Day weekend in which Virginia Beach will host the American Music Festival.
The show will include nationally known artists such as Jay Blakesberg, Scramble Campbell, Richard Biffle and many more. We are holding a silent auction to also raise money for the charities. This will include some fantastic memorabilia pieces. Artists' reception night will include live music, beverages and snacks, as well as awards, raffles, etc.
Contact: Richard Biffle @ 757-477-1116 - Please do not contact The Artists Gallery for information as they will just refer you to Richard.
If you know any companies and/or individuals that would like to donate to the silent auction, we would all be very grateful, and the children would also be grateful. Please help in any way you can.

Please send donations or contributions to:
